eLearning Modules for Medical Officers

Welcome to the Medical Officers eLearning suite. A set of modules have been made available to make training and resources readily available to those who do not have an Employee number.

Please follow the instructions provided by your local facility regarding any modules relevant to your time at RHC Australia.

The modules provided on this website are open access. Please ensure you only complete the modules which are in line with your current scope of practice.

To complete a course, please click on the relevant link below. Once the course has opened in a new window, work through each page of the module in sequence, and print (or save) the certificate of completion available on the last page. Your certificates of completion will need to be taken to your hospital for record keeping purposed.

The courses are required to be completed in one sitting as bookmarking is not available through these resources.

  1. Go to the Bloodsafe eLearning Australia course Patient Blood Management Essentials
  2. Click Access Course, then sign in or register
  3. Undertake the learning and retain your completion certificate

Hand Hygiene

  1. Go to https://nhhi.southrock.com/
  2. Log in or register
  3. Once logged in, search for Medical in the search bar at the top of the page
  4. Click on the matching search result then click the Enrol button
  5. Once you are enrolled, click the Start Module Now button
  6. Undertake the learning and retain your completion certificates

The Basics of Infection Prevention and Control

  1. Go to https://nhhi.southrock.com/
  2. Log in or register (use the same login as for Hand Hygiene)
  3. Once logged in, search for Infection in the search bar at the top of the page
  4. Click on the matching search result then click the Enrol button
  5. Once you are enrolled, click the Start Module Now button
  6. Undertake the learning and retain your completion certificates

Antineoplastic Drug Administration Course

  1. Go to https://education.eviq.org.au/courses/antineoplastic-drug-administration-course-adac (registration is not required)
  2. Access the Antineoplastic Drug Administration course (7 modules in total) OR the Antineoplastic Drug Administration Reassessment course (2 modules in total)
  3. Undertake the learning and retain your completion certificate

HoNOS

  1. Go to https://www.tepou.co.nz/initiatives/honos-family-of-measures/honos-training
  2. Log in or register. NOTE: Te Pau have changed their learning platform. If this is your first time visiting the new home of HoNOS, you will need to register a new login. Please see this userguide if you need further support.
  3. Go to the link HoNOS Vignettes and click the link under e-learning
  4. Do ANY 3 case studies and take a screenshot of the menu when the 3 are completed.
